Buffalo's inner harbor!

I got home from the downtown fireworks tonight and, since my DVR screwed up and didn't tape the 11pm news, I watched last night's news, which I had missed. The top stories went something like this:

Check out the new inner harbor. (PROGRESS!) That's not all... here's what's happening to the outer harbor over the next 3 years. (PROGRESS!) Judge deals another blow to people trying to stop $330M casino project downtown. (PROGRESS!)

I could have sworn I was watching a different city's broadcast.

The newly-opened inner harbor looks FANTASTIC. I can't say enough good things about the way it felt to be downtown tonight. Everyone was just sort of looking around in amazement, taking pictures and saying "seriously, this is Buffalo?"

So, if you live in the area and haven't checked it out yet (or if you used to live here but moved away), allow me to state this clearly.
