There was a ton of excitement surrounding the UB Football Kickoff Luncheon which took place today at the Millenium Airport Hotel. The assembled media, alumni, and other friends of the program got a chance to hear from new PBP man Paul Peck (see post below), Athletic Director Warde Manuel, Head Coach Turner Gill, Senior QB Drew Willy, and longtime NFL offensive line coach (and UB alumnus and part-time assistant with the Bulls) Jim "Mouse" McNally. Bills' great and Pro Football Hall of Famer Jim Kelly was the key note speaker.
Turner Gill also did a brief Q&A with the media prior to the luncheon and Warde Manuel joined me by phone on my radio show.
