I get a ton of emails but never post any of them here. I think I'll start.
Brad,
Why isn't the UB vs Missouri game on TV? I appreciate all the games that they are airing this season. Y'know, all of the home games that I should be attending instead of staying at home. But take last week against Temple, for example. I was in Pittsburgh visiting family and a Youngstown, Ohio channel was carrying the UB game. That was perfect.
As this weekend approaches I'm reminded of last season when UB was on the road facing Penn State. I drove all around Buffalo searching for a bar that had the Big 10 cable channel. I ended up settling in at a friends house where we had to listen on the radio and kept the tv on for whatever highlights they might show.
This is killing me. I don't care that UB is gonna get crushed this week. I wanna f--ing watch it. And you're telling me that some broke ass Time Warner public access channel can't pick up the feed for a local squad against the Number Five team in the country?
Give credit where credit is due though -- As a UB alum since 2000, I really am excited about the strides this program is making. I think the games that are televised will bring good things. Last week watching the game with my dad even he commented, "UB stadium is only 6 miles from my house, I really need to go to some games."
So, there's one convert.
Sincerely,
Nate
