Here's Clemens on Tuesday.

And, here's Bob on one of our Labatt Buffalo Main Event shows earlier this year.

Good call by Sonntag and this would be funny enough if it stopped here. But, in my search for a recent photo of Clemens, I came across the glorious sight of Clemens' former hairstyle... this spiky frosted-tip look that he sported in back in happier, pre-Mitchell Report, Congress-free era of his career.

Suddenly my wheels started turning. I had to search for any "old school" picture of Bob that I could find because the resemblance is borderline shocking. Thanks to the wonders of the internet, a lone photo of Bob Gaughan in HIS fun-loving, spiky-haired days still exists, and here it is.

Now, I'm not here to cast judgment on either Roger or Bob but I will say this... they both did seem a LOT happier before adopting the new "adult" look. Just look at the pure joy on their faces when they were embracing youth.
Bring back the spikes, bring back the fun?
At a time when Roger Clemens is grasping at straws in an attempt to regain his reputation and his credibility, it certainly seems like it's worth a shot. And if Clemens DOES go back to the spikes and it works, isn't it almost mandatory that Bob gives it a shot as well?
They were so cute at that age.
