Listen, it's my birthday. I had a couple of things I had to do today but, generally, I've been hanging out, drinking beer, playing online poker, and waiting for the hockey game.
At some point, I got "Dead Horse" from GNR's Use Your Illusion I in my head. So I put it on (CD on repeat) and the next track is "Coma." I'm mad that it took me 16 years to think of this but... any chance that "Coma" is Axl's response to "One" by Metallica?
I'm thinking that perhaps Axl listened to "One" and thought "dude, a coma sounds super cool" and then wrote a song about it.
